<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle broadcast receiver capable of securing the stable reception state of a program and also performing another operation in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: A digital terrestrial broadcast receiver 100 includes: four tuners 10-16; an OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) demodulation unit 30 for performing demodulation processing by using signals of all the tuners (diversity reception) or partial tuners; an MPEG decoder 40 for reproducing an image and sound corresponding to a received program; an OFDM demodulation unit 32 for performing demodulation processing by using the output signals of the partial tuners; a search processing unit 56 and an EPG (electronic program list) generation unit 58 for performing a background operation on the basis of the output of the OFDM demodulation unit 32; a reception state determination unit 52 for determining whether or not there is trouble in subsequent program reproduction when the diversity reception is released; and a changeover control unit 54 for issuing a changeover instruction so as to release the diversity reception when no trouble is determined and to start the background operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
