<p>A solar cell (1) of the present invention is provided with: a backside relief pattern (10) that is formed on the back surface of a silicon substrate (2); and a backside electrode (5). This solar cell (1) is characterized in that when the plane area of the back surface of the silicon substrate (2) is represented by S, the surface area of the backside relief pattern (10) is represented by X, and the surface area ratio Y is expressed as Y = X/S, the surface area ratio Y is 1.05-1.15 (inclusive). Consequently, increase of dangling bonds that are present on the back surface of the silicon substrate (2) can be prevented without lowering the bonding strength of the backside electrode (5).</p> |
