PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urine specimen analyzer and a urine specimen analysis method capable of classifying fungus for each shape by using a flow cytometry method.SOLUTION: A urine specimen analyzer is configured so that laser beam is radiated to flow of a measurement sample which is prepared by mixing the urine specimen and agent, and forward-scattered light generated by fungus in the measurement sample is detected. A group of the fungus is displayed on a histogram HG in which a lateral axis is width of a forward-scattered light signal (FSCW) and a vertical axis is frequency in an information processor. The group of the fungus is plotted on a scattergram SG2 in which width of the forward-scattered light signal (FSCW) and a peak value of the forward-scattered light signal (FSCP) are presented by two-spindle. By counting number of particles in areas A21, A22 and a range R13, number of fungus which have no budding, number of fungus which have a budding like a projection, and number of fungus which have a budding like mycelium, are acquired. |
