PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assist device bringing light movement burden to a person who needs nursing care.SOLUTION: A walking assist device 1 as a walking assist device 1 for a person (A) who needs nursing care to move in a standing position, holds the person (A) who needs nursing care in a standing position, and supports at least one of a standing movement and a seating movement of the person (A) who needs nursing care.
