<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for modifying the surface of a metal mirror which enhances the light reflectivity of laser light on the surface of a metal mirror, and can enhance a use efficiency of the laser light in a photochemical reaction. <P>SOLUTION: The method for modifying a surface 19a of a metal mirror 19 which is arranged so as to surround a light-transmitting container 21 for reaction, and reflects laser light that is used in a photochemical reaction includes an annealing step of irradiating the surface 19a of the metal mirror 19 with a carbon dioxide gas laser or a titanium sapphire laser, and annealing the surface 19a of the metal mirror 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
