<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize friction resistance in inserting a new pipe into a cushioning material disposed on the inner circumferential surface of a deteriorated existing conduit and prevent the new pipe from being sunk even after a long term use. <P>SOLUTION: In the repairing method for repairing a conduit by disposing an elastic cushioning material 3 on the inner circumferential surface of an existing pipe 1 and further inserting a new pipe 5 thereto, an antifriction member which reduces the friction is inserted between the cushioning material 3 and the new pipe 5.
