<p>The present invention relates to a power on/off apparatus of a mobile terminal capable of conveniently performing a power on/off function with one hand, and a control method therefor, the apparatus comprising: a body unit forming the outer appearance of the mobile terminal; a display unit arranged at the center of the front surface of the body unit so as to display a screen having a specific function; a user input unit arranged around the front surface of the body unit so as to input a power on/off command of a user; and a control unit arranged inside the body unit so as to control the power on/off function according to the power on/off command of the user inputted from the user input unit, wherein the user input unit comprises: a home key; a first function key arranged at one side of the home key; and a second function key arranged at the other side of the home key, and the control unit can turn on/off the power of the mobile terminal according to an electric signal applied by continuous slide touches of at least one of the first and second function keys and the home key.</p> |
