PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to prevent a streak, a belt or the like from being generated on an image, and to improve image quality.SOLUTION: An exposure apparatus has: a plurality of light-emitting elements; a storage device in which a correction value is recorded; and an element driving element which reads out the correction value from the storage device, and adjusts a driving variable based on the correction value to drive each of the light-emitting elements. The correction value is calculated based on density of an image of a predetermined image pattern formed by an image forming apparatus for testing when the image of the predetermined image pattern is read out by a reader, and is recorded in the storage device. Image quality can be improved even if each light-emitting element has dispersion in a shape, characteristics or the like, an array of chips including the light-emitting elements has a minute deviation, or optical characteristics of a lens array has periodic or non-periodic changes. |
