摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved soundness evaluation method for vascular plants capable of discriminating AE (Acoustic Emission) caused by noise such as sound noise and oscillation of an axis from AE caused by cavitation.SOLUTION: AE detection means 1a and 1b fitted to an outer face of an axis 100 of a vascular plant are configured that only one AE sensor located at a part closest to an occurrence portion of cavitation can detect AE caused by the cavitation. The AE sensors are fitted thereto in such a relative positional relationship that the other AE sensors can detect the same AE as the AE which is caused by noise and detected by the one AE sensor, however, cannot detect the AE which is caused by the cavitation and detected by the one AE sensor. This configuration can remove AE caused by the noise to detect only the AE caused by the cavitation.
