PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrolyte arranged so that a metal salt and solvent are present in a new condition.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrolyte comprises: a first dissolution step for preparing a first electrolyte by mixing together an organic solvent having a hetero element and a salt capable of producing cations of alkali metal, alkali-earth metal or aluminum and thus, dissolving the salt; a second dissolution step for preparing a second electrolyte in a supersaturated condition by adding the salt to the first electrolyte while stirring and/or heating the first electrolyte to dissolve the salt therein; and a third dissolution step for preparing a third electrolyte by adding the salt to the second electrolyte while stirring and/or heating the second electrolyte to dissolve the salt therein.
