disposing a second band of a cuff adjacent to the first band of the shoe; and placing a strap of the cuff in a recess of the bottom surface of the shoe so that the cuff wraps around two edges in the front region of the shoe, where the two edges define a portion of a periphery of the front region of the shoe.
