The impeller (8a) of the cross-flow fan (8) has a plurality of support plates (8b) and a plurality of blades (8c) arranged at intervals in the peripheral direction between pairs of support plates (8b). Each of the plurality of blades (8c) have the same outer diameter and inner diameter across the rotation axis direction between pairs of support plates (8b), and have at least one area where same is advancing or retreating relative to the rotation direction.
