摘要 The invention relates to a magnetic sensor for absolute counting of revolutions or linear distances. The aim of the invention is to provide a sensor which is technologically easy to produce by means of commercially available technologies, has a wide magnetic window and, while maintaining the basic topology, is suitable for counting, in a simple manner, arbitrarily predefinable and particularly high numbers of revolutions, or respectively longer linear distances. Said aim is achieved by virtue of the fact that a loop structure which is made of soft-magnetic material is provided with a predeterminable number of magnetic domains (D) and with GMR or TMR layer assemblies. Said loop structure comprises at least two separate loops (S1, S2) having predominantly straight partial sections (S11, S12, S13, S14 and S21, S22, S23, S24) running in a rhombus-like arrangement with respect to one another and the at least two loop structures are connected to one another via a common intersection point (K). Directly in front of each intersection region in which and after which the domains (D) of an adjacent loop structure can change, the sections of the loop structures are embodied such that they are bent away counter to the directional sense of the conductive track routing and are curved in a siphon-like manner in this region, in a manner directed into the interior of the loop structure, wherein the conductive tracks in the respective siphon-like depressions (Sk1, Sk2) intersect perpendicularly at a point (K) and all said loop structures are arranged such that they are arranged in only one common plane.
