<p>The present invention relates to an industrial machine for manufacturing male urinary incontinence pads, comprising an adapted manufacturing method. The machine enables the automated production of adapted, disposable ergonomic pads for daily use that are placed on the male genital area to absorb urine. The machine forms the join between the absorbent layers by binding the central sheet with polyethylene and polypropylene, which are joined using applications of specific industrial adhesive, which is done using programmed electronic glue units. The part movement system comprises rollerways that, once the first three layers have been bonded, route the product for application of a fourth layer, which covers just three quarters of the body of the product, forming a pocket for supporting and receiving the penis. The product is then routed to be anatomically folded using an adapted W-shaped tool that forms a central opening in the part, with longitudinal pleats and a compartment for supporting and receiving the penis, with quilted sides. Once folded and sealed, the product goes through an automatic cutting system and is folded in half before being inserted into the final packaging. The machine includes programming, and electronic boards and circuits with pre-programmed software that enable automation and a continuous production line, as well as facilitating the disconnection of the machine using actuation and emergency buttons that can be used in emergencies.</p> |
