PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methacrylic resin composition which is excellent in transparency and fire retardancy, is low water absorptive and excellent in dimension stability.SOLUTION: There is provided the methacrylic resin composition containing (A) a methacrylic resin containing 10 to 40 mass% of a structural unit derived from methacrylic acid ester represented by the formula (I) and 60 to 90 mass% of a structural unit derived from a radical polymerizable monomer (II) other than the methacrylic acid ester represented by the formula (I) and having the content of a phosphorus atom in the methacrylic resin composition of 0.8 to 5 mass%.
