摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which fall off in an amount of light heading for focus detection sensors is large.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: a first mirror that reflects one part of a subject ray flux via a photograph lens, and transmits a remaining ray flux, in which a reflectance characteristic of S polarization is different from a reflectance characteristic of P polarization, ; a 1/4 wavelength plate upon which the subject ray flux passing through the first mirror is incident, and which changes a polarization state of the incident subject ray flux; a second mirror upon which the subject ray flux having the polarization state changed by the 1/4 wavelength plate is incident, and which makes the subject ray flux incident upon the first mirror via the 1/4 wavelength plate by reflecting the incident subject ray flux toward the first mirror; light reception means for receiving reflection light of the subject ray flux incident upon the first mirror via the 1/4 wavelength plate; and focus detection means for detecting a focus state of the photograph lens on the basis of the subject ray flux received by the light reception means.</p>
