A method for controlling power supply and a wireless terminal. The method comprises: within a partial time period or overall time period when a wireless terminal is in a hibernation state, stopping supplying power to some or all circuits of a radio-frequency circuit in the wireless terminal, wherein the hibernation state comprises at least one of the following states: a hibernation state in a discontinuous transmission (DTX) cycle, and a hibernation state in a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle. The problems of waste of electric energy and shortening of the service life of a wireless terminal are solved. |
