An insulating insert for rails has a retaining fin (2) on one side of its flange (1), and a ledge (3) on the other side thereof. On the upper surface of the ledge (3) there is an elongated recess (4), optionally with a narrowing (4a) on the extension of which a leading passage is formed on one side of the recess (4), viewed in the longitudinal direction of the recess (4), wherein this recess (4) is oriented with its longitudinal direction perpendicularly to the axis of the ledge (3). On the other side of the recess (4), viewed in its longitudinal direction, a protrusion (5) is situated, which protrudes beyond the outline of the recess (4), wherein said protrusion (5) also protrudes beyond the outline of the flange (1), wherein the shape of the recess (4) is matched, in its cross-section, to the diameter of the rod of an elastic clamp inserted therein in the state after the mounting. |
