<p>The tool comprises a body (1) for mounting, with the ability to slide hermetically, a piston (2) that is able to act on a striking member mounted at the end of said body (1), the crown (2a) of said piston being mounted in a bore (1a) of the body (1) in communication with exhaust ports (1c) and (1d) for controlling a distribution device (4) linked to a compressed-air supply circuit (5) and connected to one of the exhaust ports (1d). Above the crown (2a) of the piston it has a chamber (6) supplied with compressed air by the distribution device (4) and the volume of which is determined so that it constitutes a capacity capable of filtering out the vibrations resulting from a progressive increase in pressure during the return phase of said piston.</p> |
