In response to the payment request, creating a temporary first account access code associated with the first user account, storing a copy of the first account access code at the server and sending the first account access code to the portable electronic device. The method including receiving a transaction confirmation request sent from a sales terminal, wherein the transaction confirmation request comprises a second account access code, and in accordance with a determination that the second account access code matches the first account access code stored at the server, sending a transaction confirmation message to the sales terminal.</p> |
