PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal in which, when stopping operation by bringing a battery into an over-temperature state, a user can recognize the reason.SOLUTION: The portable terminal including a display further includes: a battery; a super-capacitor which is charged by receiving power supply from the battery; a determination part that measures a temperature of the battery and determines whether the measured temperature is equal to or higher than a specified temperature which indicates the over-temperature state of the battery; a selection part which selects the battery as a power supply source of the portable terminal in the case where a result of the determination by the determination part is negative, and selects the super-capacitor as an emergency power supply source of the portable terminal in the case where the result of the determination by the determination part is positive; and a control part which displays on the display an error message indicating the over-temperature state of the battery in the case where the result of the determination by the determination part is positive. |
