PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and/or a system for treating a patient by using an electromagnetic effect of a double helix conductor with a fiberoptic cable.SOLUTION: A system comprises a body 15 including: a first runner 16 and a second runner 17 that are intertwined and helically wound around each other in a double helix, where at least part of the first runner includes a flexible and transparent fiber configured to transmit electromagnetic radiation; and a first conductive wire spirally wound around the first runner. The system further comprises a source of electromagnetic radiation being arranged to operatively couple with the first runner to transmit electromagnetic radiation through the flexible and transparent fiber, where a portion of the transmitted electromagnetic radiation is emitted from the flexible and transparent fiber.
