<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation and a method for ore slurry production which enable uniform mixing of ore slurries of different solid ingredient ratios and continuous liquid feed of large amounts of ore slurries.SOLUTION: An ore slurry production installation A includes a plurality of thickeners 10 and 20 different in thickening effect, a preliminary mixing unit 30 of a small capacity which mixes preliminarily ore slurries obtained from the thickeners 10 and 20 and a main mixing unit 40 of a large capacity which mixes ore slurries supplied from the preliminary mixing unit 30. Since ore slurries different in solid ingredient ratio are mixed preliminarily in the preliminary mixing unit 30 of a small capacity, uniform mixing is feasible. Since ore slurries are stored temporarily in the main mixing unit 40 of a large capacity, large amounts of ore slurries can be fed continuously.</p> |
