<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretch tape having good water absorption even in a stretched condition and having comfortable wearing feeling: and to provide a garment using the stretch tape.SOLUTION: A stretch tape 10 is formed of woven fabric into the base weave of which warps are inserted. The base weave has stretch property in a longitudinal direction of at least the stretch tape 10. The warps are inserted so as to form raised yarns in the longitudinal direction of the stretch tape 10. In the woven fabric, island parts 1 each having a size of 1-5 mm in a longitudinal direction of the stretch tape 10 and 1.5-5 mm in a width direction of the tape are formed with the raised yarns, and groove parts 2 each formed of a plain weave are provided among the island parts 1.</p> |
