<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine capable of suppressing unstable characteristics at a low flow rate while suppressing an unstable phenomenon due to cavitation.SOLUTION: A rotary machine includes: an impeller 2 including blades 3 and rotating around an axis O; a casing 7 storing the impeller 2, a main channel C and a reverse flow channel RC communicating with the main channel C being formed in the casing 7; and a vane section 13 provided in the reverse flow channel RC. In the reverse flow channel RC, an inlet RCa is formed to be open to the main channel C and an outlet RCb is formed to be open to the main channel C upstream of the inlet RCa. The vane section 13 guides a fluid W circulating in the reverse flow channel RC from the inlet RCa to the outlet RCb, into the main channel C in an opposite direction to a rotation direction of the impeller 2.</p> |
