<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening part building material which does not cause falling of a shutter slat even when exposed to intense heat. <P>SOLUTION: An opening part building material includes a guide frame, an in-groove reinforcing material, and an out-groove reinforcing material. The guide frame includes an outdoor side wall, an indoor side wall, a depth wall, and a groove enclosed by the three walls. The in-groove reinforcing material is disposed inside the groove of the guide frame and includes a width piece and a depth piece, in which the width piece abuts against the outdoor side wall of the guide frame and the depth piece abuts against the depth wall of the guide frame. The out-groove reinforcing material is disposed outside the groove of the guide frame and includes a width piece and a depth piece, in which the width piece abuts against the indoor side wall of the guide frame and the depth piece abuts against the depth wall of the guide frame.
