PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box in which inside surface plates are folded to outside surface plates continued from a bottom surface plate to keep an upright state so as to wrap extension parts of adjacent side surface plates, and small flaps provided on both sides of a front side surface plate continued from a top surface plate are inserted into clearances between the right and left outside surface plates and right and left folding pieces of the front side surface plate to bring the top surface plate into a closed state, the packing box being easy to bring the top surface plate into an open state.SOLUTION: A notch part K1 is formed in a right side surface part 45, and a notch part K2 is formed in a left side surface part 55, to bring a top surface part 60 into a closed state, and an insertion flap 72 is inserted into the clearance between a right outside surface part 40 of the right side surface part 45 and the folding piece continuously provided from a front side surface part 20, and an insertion flap 74 is inserted into the clearance between a left outside surface part of the left side surface part 55 and the folding piece continuously provided from the front side surface part 20, to lock the top surface part 60 in the closed state, and for bringing the top surface part 60 into an open state, side parts of parts exposed from the notch parts K1 and K2, of the insertion flaps 72 and 74, are pushed.
