Disclosed in the present invention are a method and device for forwarding information, which relate to the technical field of telecommunications and solve the problems that the information that a certain user has released may be propagated within a relatively small range and more operation cost may be consumed during the propagation. Specifically, the method of the present invention may comprise: a network server receiving the information of the friendship circle released by a first user; judging whether a second user in the friendship circle of the first user has opened his or her own friendship circle permission to the first user; if so, sending the information of the friendship circle released by the first user to a third user in the friendship circle of the second user, wherein the third user is not a user which belongs to the friendship circle of the first user.
