The present invention relates to a plated conductive cable, a planar element using the same, and a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the said present invention relates to a plated conductive cable, a planar element using the same, and a manufacturing method thereof which guarantees stable conductivity and sufficient rigidity against a tensile force even if the conductive cable is plated. According to the present invention, the plated conductive cable constructed to be electrically conductive comprises: a middle thread composed of a fiber thread arranged in a straight line, and disposed on a center of the plated conductive cable; a skin layer coated around an outer circumferential surface of the middle thread, and formed from a material which cannot be plated with a conductive metal; and a conductive thread formed from arranging or winding a plateable thread material which can be plated with a conductive metal on a skin layer in a waveform or a coil form, and then plating the plateable thread material with a conductive metal. The plateable thread material and a high tensile strength fiber thread which cannot be plated are woven into the conductive thread. According to the plated conductive cable in accordance to the present invention, the conductive thread is arranged on the separate middle thread in a waveform or a coil form; thus the plated conductive cable is stretchable to prevent cracks and damages to the plating layer even when a tensile force in a longitudinal direction is applied, and fine gold (Au) or silver (Ag) wire can be produced to secure stable conductivity by a plating method without using the wire as a conductive cable, guaranteeing sufficient tensile strength and durability. Additionally, only the plateable thread material is uniformly plated, thereby usage of the plating metal can be reduced to lower the manufacturing costs. |
