PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the influence of a magnetic field from a rotary electrical machine and achieve space saving when a resolver is mounted onto the rotary electrical machine.SOLUTION: A rotary electrical machine includes: a rotor 12 having a hollow cylindrical rotor shaft 14 and a rotor core 12c fixed onto the outer periphery surface 14b of the rotor shaft 14; a rotor bearing 9 that is in contact with the outer periphery surface 14b of the rotor shaft 14 and rotatably supports the rotor shaft 14; and a resolver 1 for detecting rotation of the rotor 12. The entire resolver 1 is disposed more inner side of a radial direction R than the inner periphery surface 14a of the rotor shaft 14. At least part of the resolver 1 is disposed so as to overlap with the rotor shaft 14 when viewed in the radial direction R of the rotor shaft 14. |
