PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent retransfer of ink generated due to pressing of a medium to be transported at the time of print processing on the medium to be transported in a transport device which transports the medium to be transported such as a print sheet while pressing the medium to be transported.SOLUTION: A transport device includes a transport roller 22 which transports a print sheet P toward a prescribed transport direction, and a pressing part 23 in which a plurality of ultrasonic radiation elements respectively radiating ultrasonic waves with the same frequency and the same phase are arranged in a direction orthogonal to the transport direction and which presses the print sheet P with the ultrasonic waves radiated from the plurality of ultrasonic radiation elements. |
