PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet having excellent printing properties while allowing a printed material to have excellent boiling resistance.SOLUTION: In a thermal transfer sheet, at least a transferable protective layer and a transferable coloring layer are disposed in this order on one side of a base material. A back surface layer is disposed on the other side of the base material. The transferable protective layer includes a cyclic olefin polymer with glass-transition temperature of 100°C or higher as a main constituent, and further includes a resin incompatible to the cyclic olefin polymer. The transferable coloring layer includes a coloring agent and a phenol resin with a softening point of 100°C or higher. |
