PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound machine 100 capable of preventing generation of errors by appropriately detecting the type of a sheet.SOLUTION: A compound 100 includes: mode determination means 403 for determining whether or not the mode set for execution of printing is a specific mode for a sheet different from a sheet of normal print conditions; changing means 404 for, when as a result of the determination, the mode set for execution of printing is the specific mode, changing the width value for determining the type of a sheet to a first width value lower than a normal width value; and type determination means 405 for measuring a type value which indicates the type of a sheet conveyed according to the execution of printing, and determining whether or not the type value is within a threshold range specified by the width value changed. |
