<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosstalk evaluation method of an optical waveguide capable of easily evaluating crosstalk of the optical waveguide.SOLUTION: The crosstalk evaluation method of the optical waveguide is configured to evaluate intensity of light leaked to any other core parts 14 with crosstalk when light is made incident to one of a plurality of parallel core parts 14. The core part 14 to which light is made incident is defined as a light incident core part and two core parts 14 which are positioned at one side of the light incident core part are defined as reference core parts, respectively. The method includes the steps of: linearizing distribution of XI coordinates of (X, I) and (X, I) when a distance from an origin to the reference core part is defined as X and intensity ratios of light emitted from the reference core parts in the state where light is made incident to the light incident core part are defined as Iand I; and estimating the intensity of light emitted from the core parts 14 with the crosstalk on the basis of a model that is obtained by the linearization.</p> |
