VISIBILITY EVALUATION METHOD OF SAMPLE, DOT PATTERN FOR VISIBILITY EVALUATION, AND METAL-CLAD LAMINATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for numerically expressing visibility of a sample to evaluate it objectively.SOLUTION: A dot pattern 1 distributed in two dimensions is prepared and photographed via a sample 5. A photographed dot pattern image 3 is generated as an output image. The output image is divided into the same dot number as the dot pattern 1, which is an input image, and each dot is classified into two or more kinds. A frequency distribution is obtained by quantifying luminance of classified each kind of dot and a signal noise ratio is calculated from the average of luminance and a standard deviation. The signal noise ratio is compared with a signal noise ratio similarly calculated for an output image obtained when the dot pattern 1 is photographed via no sample and visibility of the sample is evaluated.
