<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add by simple means the functions of an infrared remote control transmitter to a portable type content reproduction device which does not have the functions of an infrared remote control transmitter. <P>SOLUTION: When an instruction to control a controlled apparatus is input, a control file stored in a storage unit is reproduced. A signal conversion device generates a power supply voltage by rectifying a right-channel audio signal. A transistor Q1 goes to an ON state when a left-channel audio signal is at the high level and goes to an OFF state when the signal is at the low level. A light-emitting diode D2 emits an infrared radiation signal when the transistor Q1 is in the ON state, and does not emit an infrared radiation signal when the transistor Q1 is in the OFF state, in which way it radiates an infrared remote control signal for controlling the controlled apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
