<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer and a printing method, which can obtain a glossy printed result free from particle feeling while suppressing waste of a medium. <P>SOLUTION: A transport means, which moves a medium along a predetermined transport direction, stops transport of the medium when an ink head finishes injecting an ink onto the medium. A control means, which transports a light irradiation means in the transport direction, moves the light irradiation means, which moves together with the transport means while emitting light, rearward with respect to its initial position in the transport direction when movement of the medium by the transport means stops. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
