<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device that controls start-up according to load variation to efficiently output a high voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply device 80 includes: a control part 612 for generating a control signal; a voltage output part 641 for outputting a DC voltage to a load 81 according to a frequency of the control signal; and an output current detection part 647 for detecting a current flowing in the load 81.
