Provided are a display device and a control method therefor, and a gesture recognition method, which belong to the technical field of gesture recognition, and can solve the problem in the existing gesture recognition that selection and determination operations must be conducted respectively. The control method for the display device of the present invention comprises: displaying, by a naked-eye 3D display unit, a virtual 3D control picture, wherein the virtual distance between the virtual 3D control picture and an eye of a user is equal to a first distance, and the first distance is less than the distance between the naked-eye 3D display unit and the eye of the user; collecting, by an image collection unit, an image of a click action of the user on the virtual 3D control picture; and according to the image collected by the image collection unit, judging, by the gesture recognition unit, a click position of the user on the virtual 3D control picture, and sending a control instruction corresponding to the click position to a corresponding execution unit. The present invention can be used for the control of a display device, and is particularly applicable for the control of television. |
