PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food cutting apparatus capable of cutting and dividing rectangular food into a plurality of cut pieces without deteriorating the yield or quality or decreasing the working efficiency even for flexible and easily deformable food.SOLUTION: A diagonal cut line DCL derived from a plan-view picture PP of photographed rectangular bread PB is set within a transport face 11a of a cutting conveyor 10, and the position of a reciprocating cutter 41 is changed to coincide with the diagonal cut line DCL in the plan view. Descent of the reciprocating cutter 41 cuts and divides the photographed rectangular bread PB along the diagonal cut line DCL into a pair of triangle cut pieces TP. |
