PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device capable of transmitting safety information for a long time by suppressing power consumption.SOLUTION: Following processes are performed in a portable terminal device 1. An acceleration detection part 112 measures the acceleration of the portable terminal device 1. A time measurement part 114 measures a passage time from the last detection of the acceleration by the acceleration detection part 112, and a radio communication part 111 transmits safety information when a predetermined time elapses. The time measurement part 114 measures a passage time from the last transmission of the safety information, and the radio communication part 111 repeats the transmission of the safety information whenever the predetermined time elapses without the detection of the acceleration by the acceleration detection part 112. Here, when the reduction of a remaining battery level is detected, a battery part 103 stops power supply to the radio communication part 111. When the safety information is to be transmitted, the battery part 103 restarts the power supply to the radio communication part 111. |
