<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video monitoring device capable of detecting an event in video data without completely decoding the video data, and presenting the event position in the video to a browser. <P>SOLUTION: The video monitoring device includes a video decoding part 1 which receives an encoded video stream A as input information, and outputs encoding amount information C in predetermined time units in encoded video, an encoding parameter B in the encoded video, and decoded video D obtained by decoding the encoded video; an event detection part 2 which detects the event in the encoded video from the encoding amount information C and encoding parameter B; and a display video generation part 3 which generates display video F having an event part emphasized from the decoded video D and an event detection result E from the event detection part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
