PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standby circuit having substantially zero power consumption with a simple circuit.SOLUTION: A standby circuit includes: a relay connecting a power-supply circuit to a commercial power supply; a capacitor capable of storing charges for driving the relay; a first charging path supplying a first charging current from the power-supply circuit to the capacitor; a solar battery; a second charging path supplying a second charging current from the solar battery to the capacitor; a step-up circuit stepping up a voltage of the capacitor and applying the stepped-up voltage to the relay; a detection circuit receiving an infrared remote control signal, and operating the step-up circuit when detecting a power-on signal from the received infrared remote control signal. |
