<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound which can be suppressed in adsorption of proteins for a long time and a method which enables measurement of saccharides and glycoproteins on a metal substrate with good reproductivity.SOLUTION: A boronic acid compound has a thiol group, a benzene ring having a boronic acid group, an alkyl chain and a polyethylene glycol chain between the thiol group and the benzene ring and an amide bond in the polyethylene glycol chain and can be suppressed in nonspecific adsorption of proteins to the boronic acid compound for a long period. Using the boronic acid compound, e.g. a concentration of a saccharide can thus be measured for a long period even under conditions involving an interference substance.</p> |
