摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission mechanism capable of increasing an amount of regenerated energy by a generator without extending an axial length between a torque converter and a transmission.SOLUTION: A torque converter 4, unlike a conventional torque converter, is configured so that a turbine runner 45 is coupled to a torque converter cover 43, a torque converter input shaft 41 is coupled to a pump impeller 44, and a torque converter output shaft 42 is coupled to the torque converter cover 43. The torque converter cover 43 is provided to be able to transmit power to an alternator 6. As a result, when a vehicle 1 coasts, the power transmitted from a transmission 3 to the torque converter output shaft 42 can be transmitted to the alternator 6 via the torque converter cover 43 and the alternator 6 can regenerate electric power from the transmitted power in a state in which the torque input shaft 41 is decoupled from the torque converter cover 43 (lockup released state).</p>
