<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical axis adjuster for adjusting an optical axis from the front of a vehicle, while reducing the amount of an optical axis adjusting passage protruding with respect to a headlight. <P>SOLUTION: A headlight 23 includes a bulb 52, a reflector 55 and a lens 47, a housing 48 behind the reflector 55, and holding means 56, 57 for holding the reflector 55 with respect to the housing 48 so as to be adjusted in angle. An adjusting screw 61 for adjusting an inclination angle of the reflector 55 includes a part protruding rearward from the housing 48. An adjusting passage 66 holds an adjustment shaft 65 which is rotated from the front side of the headlight 23 by use of an adjusting tool 83. The rotation of the adjustment shaft 65 is transmitted to the adjusting screw 61 via gears 67, 64. The adjusting passage 66 is arranged close to either the left or right side of the headlight 23 while maintaining the distance to the adjusting screw 61 when the headlight 23 is seen from the front. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
