Disclosed are a method and device for detecting fraud with respect to the number of visits to a web page. The method comprises: obtaining the number of visits to a target web page; determining whether the number of visits satisfies preset conditions; if so determined, obtaining visit source information of the target web page; according to the visit source information, determining whether the number of visits to the target web page is fraudulent. By determining whether the obtained number of visits to a target web page satisfies preset conditions, when the number of visits does satisfy the preset conditions, it is determined that the number of visits to the target web page is fraudulent. The present invention solves the problem of inaccurate identification of fraud concerning the number of visits to a web page, and thus accurately identifies fraud with respect to the number of visits to a target web page.
