<p>Photovoltaic units and structures are disclosed. The photovoltaic units comprise a housing with a cylindrical wall arranged around a central axis of the housing. A translucent closing element is located at a first end of the cylindrical wall. A photovoltaic cell is arranged along said central axis wherein electrical output wires are connected to the anode and to the cathode thereof. An inner surface of the cylindrical wall is reflective to sun light. The photovoltaic structures may comprise a support, such as a paved way or an external wall of a building, and a plurality of photovoltaic units embedded in the support.</p>
