The present invention relates to a system for guiding optimum join position and a method thereof, by which a path of the longest distance among paths from current positions to identical destinations of each vehicle is set as a first path, and a second path of considering middle points of straight distances from the current positions to the first path of each vehicle, as a passage of the first path is generated, and then, a position of interest (POI) adjacent to the periphery of an intersection of the first path and the second path is guided to a join position. For the foregoing, the system for guiding the optimum join position comprises: an on-board terminal for detecting the join position based on POI information and position information of each vehicle, provided from a guide server; and the guide server for supplying the POI information and the position information of the corresponding vehicle according to a request from the on-board terminal, and transmitting join position information provided from the on-board terminal to each vehicle. |
