The present invention relates to an electric vehicle and, more particularly, to a power transmitting device of an electric vehicle to integrate an engine with a generator. The power transmitting device of the electric vehicle to integrate the engine with the generator includes the engine which is connected to a fuel tank and generates kinetic energy by using fuels stored in the fuel tank, the generator which converts the kinetic energy generated in the engine into electric energy, a first motor, a second motor, a converter, a battery which is connected to the converter and stores the remaining electric energy provided from the converter, and a control unit. The control unit requests an engine/motor speed control unit to control the amount of fuels supplied from the fuel tank to the engine. |
